Turn your vehicle's lights on whenever it starts to get dark. Don't use just parking lights. These are for parked cars only. Use your high beams whenever there are no oncoming cars. High beams let you see twice as far as low beams. Dim your lights whenever you come within a distance of 500 feet of an oncoming car, or when following another car.
