This program will de-mystify basic toxicological terms so that employees to understand information found on product labels and MSDS's. Terms such as toxicity, dose/response, routes of entry, acute and chronic, and exposure limits are clearly defined. The program reviews the potential health hazards associated with various categories of chemicals including irritants, corrosives, skin and respiratory sensitizers, target organ poisons, neurotoxins, anesthetics, reproductive toxins and carcinogens.
