Instruction is provided on the four common routes of entry, first aid procedures, personal protective equipment, and storage, handling, spill, leak procedures, as well as disposal of organic solvents as hazardous wastes.

Metalworking Fluids and Lubricants

This tape discusses the different types of metalworking fluids and lubricants, possible hazards associated with their use, and symptoms of acute and chronic overexposure. Information on personal protective equipment as well as spill, leak and disposal procedures is provided. The four lubricant groups used to reduce friction between metal salts are also discussed.

Adhesives and Sealers

This tape addresses adhesives considered "stable" and "active" along with their health and physical hazards, routes of entry, personal protective equipment, plus first aid, storage, handling and disposal procedures.

Compressed Gases

Acid, oxidizing, fuel, and inert gases are discussed in addition to fire and explosion information, storage and handling procedures, personal protective equipment, and disposal of gas cylinders.

Metals & Metal Salts

This tape provides an overview of the uses of metals and metal salts, their hazards, symptoms of acute and chronic overexposure, proper storage and handling, and personal protective equipment. Enables workers to safely use metals and metal salts and find needed information about them on an MSDS and labels.
