|
This program reviews the safety requirements that apply no matter what type scaffold is being used. It explains who can design and build a scaffold, things to look for before getting on a scaffold, fall protection requirements and some general safety procedures about working from scaffolds. The program highlights the following hazards: setting up a scaffold without being qualified, defective or damaged ropes or planks, use of substandard guardrails, working around overhead electrical lines, and overloading the scaffold with debris or other materials.
